Head Coach Anatoliy Buliga (non-parent): Level 5 USA Hockey Coach; 15+ years coaching players at all levels (including professional); played professionally; extensive experience coaching youth hockey with a focus on skating and puck handling.
Team coaching staff with over 50+ years of coach experience and extensive playing experience, including AHL, OHL, NCAA, and NCRHA.
Core comprised of the 2014 Rangers Red Squirt A Yzerman team.
Focused on teamwork, skills, gameplay, and fun.
Upcoming Season
Will compete in the LCAHL Yzerman division
In season there are typically 3 - 80 minute practices each week focusing on skill development with a push and praise philosophy

The Birmingham Rangers 2013 competes in the LCAHL, Howe 2 Division
The roster will consist of 15-17 players, plus two goalies
Two travel tournaments are planned, with the possibility of an added third
Coach Mitch
Coach Mitch, a USA Hockey Level 2 coach, played professional hockey in his native Romania for ten years, from 1996 – 2006, for Dunarea Galati, Rapid Bucuresti, Steaua Bucuresti and for the Romanian National team in the European Championships. Perennially, those teams competed for not just the European Continental Cup, but for championships in the Romanian National Hockey League, which is the highest level of professional hockey in Romania. In addition, Coach Mitch coached various national championship youth teams throughout Romania too, including the College National Hockey Team in Bucuresti, Romania. Coaching youth hockey is Coach Mitch’s true passion and something that has been handed down by his father. The Birmingham Rangers 2013’s are extremely fortunate to have Coach Mitch as its Head Coach. He has been instrumental in transforming a relatively new Birmingham Youth Hockey travel team into a very success unit by inspiring every teammate while teaching the game the right way and by developing players both on and off the ice.
Coach Nick
Coach Nick is a USA Hockey Level 4 coach and has been coaching youth hockey for nearly ten years within the LCAHL. A native Canadian, Coach Nick has a vast amount of experience coaching youth hockey for nearly a decade. He has played competitive hockey from a young age and still plays today. Nick's calm demeanor, depth of knowledge and unique ability to help players reach their potential is a game-winning combination.

Team Info
Playing in the Adray Prep League, Tier 2 Division.
We will play in 6-8 preseason games in September and October.
We will play ~20 regular season games from Nov to Feb with playoffs in March.
We will participate in the MAHA State Tournament for Prep/JV teams.
We will play against other JV teams (Rochester United, Plymouth, Canton, etc.).
18U Rangers were formed in the 2022-2023 Season.
Our staff works with the BU Varsity coaching staff to help utilize this Prep/JV team for their varsity programs.
